The original Ravetti™ fittings to be used with the Stop/System tamping machine are made entirely of ASTM A105 or of specific material for low temperatures (up to -46°C), and can therefore be used over a wide range of temperatures.
The material used is also characterised by a low value in terms of equivalent carbon, such as to guarantee greater ease of welding.
The fittings are supplied as standard with NBR70 OR, while a suitable OR is used for district heating.
For easier use, the first threading turn is removed from the fittings to allow easier engagement of the internal cap on the shaped fitting.
